#20: Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
It’s not that I didn’t *like* Mrs. Dalloway, I just had difficulty concentrating on her day, her party, and the people around her. The story is rather short, but it took me almost two weeks to read it because I often chose music over her when riding the train. A book club with discussion surrounding the novel as it progressed might have been helpful as I tried to get into it, but that didn’t happen and I was left to my own devices. I will say this though: Virgina Woolf has a gift for the use of adverbs. Girl knows how to work the -ly.
