#16: An Unsuitable Job for a Woman by P.D. James
Yay, first British author! Yay, first mystery! I love a good crime story and I have to say that James writes them very well. It was fun to read about murder and deceit in England. The book was set in contemporary time and yet there was still a hint of classic English language in the narrative. Plus, the sleuth is a woman about my age who also likes to solve puzzles regarding the things people do. I won’t give away too much because one of my (I’m assuming) two readers might want to read it someday. Thanks for the recommendation, Dad!
