#28: No One Belongs Here More Than You by Miranda July
The only way I can think to describe this book is by saying that it is eloquently quirky. It is a compilation of short stories that feature the inner thoughts of a variety of different characters. What July is able to do with her writing is put the reader somehow inside of the stories and make them feel as though their actions aren’t quite as strange as they seem on the surface. The book is short and a very easy read. It’s a recommendation for many. Below, I’ve put a small quote from the first story in the book because no matter what, it always feels good to have the validation “it’s okay to be unsure”.
