#41: The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
In the spirit of finally reading the books I somehow missed growing up, I decided was time for some Tolkien. The Hobbit was a fantastic book and I enjoyed every minute of it. Of course, I’m usually a sucker for magic. It helped that the story was simple, yet full of imagination. Another thing I like about the book is that it is good at any age. I can see how a young teenager would get wrapped up in The Hobbit and even at 23 I was able to lose myself in Middle Earth. Books like this remind me that storytelling is an art form and when written correctly, they can bring bring dreams to life.
